The Crystal Ion?

July 28th, 2007 by Exspider

Give me a break please!

Illusion Or Reality?

This is rather interesting in a way though, (not you Dan, the other Rather), and does give me some pause for thought. An engine that runs on air only, and no fuel? Ouch! That makes my head hurt. Oil Well, I think I’ll need a little more information before I’d want to call this one.

The Video is HERE :P PESWiki has more HERE
Yikes! No more Internet for me today. I’ve already got more information than I can use. Can I trade some of it in for carbon credits?

On a related note, this is something that might be viable:

Thermal Electric

Here’s something Jerry Woodall is working on to create hydrogen on demand using gallium and aluminum to crack it from water. Heh, at least it works……..

Purdue Process Generates Hydrogen From Aluminum Alloy

Either way you look at it folk’s, you need a little oil to make it all happen…….

Getting rid of the cobwebs doesn’t mean the spider won’t be back. The rest as Rurik would say, is history………

Video: Why We Fight.

July 25th, 2007 by Exspider

You can stick your head in the sand if you want folks, but that only makes it easier for the enemy. Hey, I know, let’s just talk to these people and see if we can get them to negotiate. Oh ya, we tried that.

Sometimes a little bit of attitude is a good thing. This is kind of extreme, but nice all the same. After all, humor is a good thing, right?

What Debate?

July 23rd, 2007 by Exspider

Very interesting stuff. Are these people serious?
Check out this video from the Democratic Debate 07/23/07.

Joe Biden is honest at least. He still believes he’s the only one smart enough to own a gun. Hmmmm???? What Bunk. Video Link HERE

Next thing you know Rod Blagojevich will outlaw smoking in bars here in Illinois. Oh Ya, he signed that one today. That’ll really help when it comes to tax revenues. Bad move Rod, socialism doesn’t pay very well in the long run. You proved that when you ran off the trucking outfits after jacking up the license fee’s.

Oh, the driveway heaters that you installed at the Governors Mansion (that you refuse to live in) was a nice touch though. Heck, $850,000 is chump change, right?

Anyhow. if I were you I’d put another 90 cent tax on cigarettes and bet on the casino’s (people) to bail you out. Sheesh…. Sometimes I really do miss Texas….

Side Tracked Again

July 13th, 2007 by Exspider

Sorry about the light posting. I started a small project a week ago that turned into several larger ones. Never fails. Here’s a picture for you in the mean time.
This 100 year old cyprus in the back yard has got to break some kind of record folks. The webbing on the branch to the left is a foot thick and gradually goes to a nominal round branch of 18″ or so in the upper left side of the picture. Biggest damn cyprus I’ve ever seen anyhow.

The Tree

Every other year it lives up to it’s name and becomes a true bald cyprus, drops its ball’s, and makes one hell of a mess. It’s one of those nature deals….

You learn to live with it…

Cyprus Ball's

I’ve got my carbon credits stacked in the background over there just in case Al Gore stops by. Ya, I know; fat chance…… Null and void. That account is no longer active….

Proposed OSHA Regulation Threatens Firearm and Ammunition Industry

July 6th, 2007 by Exspider

I heard this earlier today via Rush Limbaugh and planned to bring the subject to bare in a post today. But as is the norm for me, I got side tracked on another project and didn’t get it done.  As it turns out William Page over at Old War Dogs jogged my memory with an email later on to the fact that I really needed to get this one posted. Thanks W!

This is a serious issue folks and it needs to be put before the people rather than dictated to us by another branch of government.

Call me anything you’d like, but don’t call me late for supper…….
Lines in the sand.......

Kiss your Second Amendment Rights Goodbye. WHY? No AMMO.
You’ve only got until July 18, 2007 to add your voice to the public comment to OSHA.
Needless to say, your gun is only a club without ammo.

Source: Link HERE

The proposed rule can be found >HERE
Lines in the sand.......

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the government agency charged with assuring the safety and health of America’s workers, is proposing a regulatory rule affecting the manufacturing, transportation and storage of small arms ammunition, primers and smokeless propellants.
As written, the proposed rule would force the closure of nearly all ammunition manufacturers and force the cost of small arms ammunition to skyrocket beyond what the market could bear—essentially collapsing our industry. This is not an exaggeration. The cost to comply with the proposed rule for the ammunition industry, including manufacturer, wholesale distributors and retailers, will be massive and easily exceed $100 million. For example, ammunition and smokeless propellant manufacturers would have to shut down and evacuate a factory when a thunderstorm approached and customers would not be allowed within 50 feet of any ammunition (displayed or otherwise stored) without first being searched for matches or lighters.
NSSF and SAAMI have already had a preliminary meeting with OSHA officials to begin the process of explaining to them the major problems this proposed rule presents for all levels of the firearms and ammunition industry. Furthermore, NSSF and SAAMI are each seeking a 60 day extension of the public comment period (currently scheduled to expire July 12).
NSSF is urging all retailers to contact OSHA directly and request a 60-day extension of the public comment period. Retailers should inform OSHA that the proposed rule constitutes a “significant regulatory action” as defined in Executive Order 12866 (1993) Section 3(f)(1) in that it will clearly “adversely affect in a material way” the retail sector of the firearms and ammunition industry, productivity, competition and jobs and that the annual compliance cost for all retailers of ammunition will far exceed $100 million dollars.

Request to Extend Public Comment Period and Request for Hearing on
“Significant Regulatory Action” as Defined in Executive Order 12866

Lt. Bobby Ross: The Voice Of America

July 4th, 2007 by Exspider

H/T to you Bobby and thanks for the email. Nice song you got there brother….

I remember my dads song also, and he couldn’t (or wouldn’t) even sing in church because he wasn’t there in the first place, but he made sure we went. He sure seemed to get a lot done when we weren’t around anyhow. He passed that on to me I guess, I can’t sing either. LOL I know that for a fact, I’ve tried. Guitar maybe. Vocals are totally out of the question.

Anyhow I like this one. God Bless America. Hmmm…. Is that legal?

Stuck Mojo: I’m American

July 3rd, 2007 by Exspider

H/T to Charles Johnson at LGF for the link.

Stuck Mojo sure does rock when it comes to delivering the message.

Anyhow, I’ll be back later after I do the jobs that most American’s won’t do. Oh wait. That’s my job! Sheesh, what was I thinking?
Hmmmmmmmmm…. Just another day folks, it’s all work if you do it right.
God Bless America and you too Stuck Mojo. At least somebody gets it…
